Teton Valley sheriff blotter for June 7–13: 345 dispatch calls, two DUI arrests, a repeat shoplifter's $469 tab, and a drift boat towed, not stolen.

Teton Valley sheriff blotter, the week of June 7–13. Three hundred forty-five calls came in to the Teton County Sheriff's Office. Most were patrol, traffic enforcement, and after-hours security checks.

A report of a man showing a gun and heading toward Victor ended with no gun found and the driver cited for underage drinking. Two other drivers were arrested for DUI, one of them testing at more than three times the legal limit.

09:59 Someone found a pistol on the highway near Tetonia; a deputy retrieved it.

10:29 A caller who recognized the vehicle reported that its occupant was showing a gun and heading toward Victor, and gave a full description of the vehicle and the driver. A deputy stopped and detained the driver but found no firearm in a search. The driver, who had three alcohol-related contacts with deputies in the previous 60 days, was cited for open container and underage consumption, a second underage-possession offense. The driver's girlfriend said she was worried her father was trying to get the boyfriend thrown in jail.

10:42 A 49-year-old Tetonia man was cited for petty theft after shoplifting from a Driggs store, where he had unwrapped food and left the wrapper in the case. He was ordered to pay restitution for a lengthy list of items he had taken from the same store, totaling $469 in 2026 alone.

21:13 A deputy observed a 30-year-old Victor man at a grocery store and arrested him for excessive DUI. Breathalyzer readings were .273 and .279, more than three times the legal limit. His vehicle was towed, and he bonded out.

09:35 A woman reported that a man had been following her and asked to remain anonymous. She said the man, a former boyfriend, had been driving past the gym while she worked out. Another deputy had previously stopped the same man for the same reason. She was advised to seek a civil protection order.

14:12 A deputy stopped a semi pulling a trailer for speeding and found the driver had an active warrant out of Bannock County. The driver bonded out.

13:25 A social worker from out of state reported a sexual assault that had occurred during a camping trip 12 years earlier. The case is under investigation.

02:22 A deputy stopped a vehicle in Driggs for a right taillight that was out and noticed slurred speech and the odor of alcohol. The driver, a 39-year-old man from New Mexico, failed a field sobriety test; breath-test readings were .184, .183, and .169. He was arrested, then booked and released on a first-offense misdemeanor citation. A friend riding with him arranged for a sober driver to retrieve the vehicle.

08:42 A caller reported vandalism at Tetonia City Park, where picnic tables had been flipped, trash scattered, and cans left open, and was asked to email photos. The caller said a juvenile on a dirt bike had thrown pieces of concrete at the Tetonia firehouse the day before and trashed the pavilion. A report was taken.

08:58 A man came into the sheriff's office in Driggs to report abuse by his spouse, but declined to provide further details or press charges, and the report was not completed. 10:56 A person reported a raft and two oars missing, possibly taken while they were at a grocery store. They did not know who had taken them.

09:29 A Fish and Game call near Driggs turned out to be a report of someone overstaying at a campground.

08:53 A Victor resident reported a drift boat stolen, with a vehicle now parked where it had sat. The owner later got a call from a rental company saying it had towed the boat.
