20:06 A deputy in Tetonia watched a vehicle go by at 45 in a 35 zone near Main Street. A skunk ran out in front of it, and the driver slowed to avoid the animal. Once the vehicle had passed, the deputy pulled it over for speeding and smelled alcohol. Asked whether he'd had anything to drink, the driver said no. Then he said he'd had a single beer earlier that night. Field sobriety testing followed, and the deputy asked for a breath sample. While they waited, the deputy asked again. One beer, the driver said, then dinner, then one beer. Breath readings were .085 and .082, against a legal limit of .08. The driver, a 44-year-old Felt man, was arrested for DUI, booked and released.
