Music on Main kicks off its 8-week run tomorrow, June 18, in Victor City Park! This community-supported live music series is the place to be every Thursday night during the summer, heavily attended by locals and visitors alike.

Ushering in the season is Built to Spill, one of the most recognizable and influential U.S. indie rock bands of the '90s and beyond. This Boise-based group has received critical acclaim throughout their career and is credited as a key influence on alternative rock bands like Modest Mouse and Death Cab for Cutie. Built to Spill is well-versed in live performance with over 30 years of tours under their belts.

The Teton Valley Foundation's free Thursday series runs nine weeks through August 13, skipping the week of July 4. See the full week-by-week lineup for the rest of the season.

Music on Main is free and open to all ages. The Teton Valley Foundation suggests a $5 donation per person to help them continue bringing high-quality musicians to Teton Valley. Doors open at 5 pm, with opening acts starting at 5:45 pm, and headliners playing until 10pm.

This year, the party doesn't stop when Music on Main ends.

Wildwood (7705 Lupine Ln., Victor) is proud to launch Music on Main Late Night, a new Thursday night tradition that keeps the energy alive indoors after Victor City Park closes. Each Thursday, this reinvigorated event space will serve up live music and good vibes to the community that makes Teton Valley so special.

Kicking off the inaugural late night this Thursday is Strumbucket — the Jackson, Wyoming-based five-piece that refuses to stay in one genre long enough to get comfortable. Expect funky bass grooves, banjo twang, Latin jazz fusion, synth psychedelia, and soaring guitar all woven together in a colorful, anything-goes live show. Having shared bills with acts like the Nth Power, Polyrhythmics, Fruition, and Ghost of Paul Revere, these five Teton locals—Peter Henderson, Lavender Jones, Grove Miller, Pat Bottini, and Alex Blackwelder—bring every bit of it to life on stage.

$10 (suggested) at the door. All ages are welcome (a guardian is required if under 16). The show goes from 10 pm to late. 7705 Lupine Lane, Victor—just north of town, next to New West KnifeWorks—follow the glowsticks from City Park.

Music on Main Late Night runs every Thursday at Wildwood through August 13th (no show July 2). See you at the park or on the dance floor!
